Letter to Mary Ann Lamar Cobb, 1888 Oct. 2.

The collection consists of a letter from Jefferson Davis, Beauvoir, Mississippi to Mrs. Mary Ann Lamar Cobb of Athens, Georgia dated October 2, 1888 in which Davis asks for information regarding supplies that Gen. Howell Cobb sent from his plantation to Andersonville Prison in order to help feed prisoners held there during the Civil War.
